THE YOUTH FORUM
"What's REALLY Goin' On"?
Teens are invited to ask questions to our local leaders within the City of Fayetteville and Cumberland County. Elected officials, appointed officials, pastors, teachers, and parents as they endeavor to learn as much as they can about how things really work in the governing and operation of home and community. The Bible states that people perish for a lack of knowledge so it is important for our teens to learn who their elected officials are and what their role is when it comes to teen, family, and community issues.
Violence, gangs, drugs, teen pregnancy, education, recreation, peer pressures, church and family life are just some of the issues that will be discussed by teens and the invited guests.
Forum is conducted on the 4th Saturday of every month
FROM 2 - 5:30 PM AT THE
VICTORY HORIZONS COMMUNITY CENTER
ADMISSION IS $5 PER PERSON
ACTUAL Q & A will be from 2 - 3:30 PM
Then we have a teen social from 3:30 - 5:30 PM
A Youth Entertainment Jam Session
